Balaji Warehousing Company Private Limited (BWC) is a flagship Concern of the BWC Group, which is one of the South India's leading Private Warehousing Company in Karnataka, as an organization it started in a humble way in the year 1994 and has grown in strength in the last 24 years with its current presence in Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Kerala and West Bengal. Leadership

Chairman & Managing Director

Sri. Kaliki Kodandrami Reddy was born in to a middle class agricultural family in Nellore Dist. A.P., he started off as an agriculturist in the year 1976 post his graduation. In the year 1979, he moved to Hyderabad as factory manager at a leading FMCG company which focused on health drink. It was in the year 1983 that Sri. Kodandarami Reddy had his first stint as a Sales-officer in the Warehousing business under a leading private warehousing organization, he climbed up the ranks as a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) in the year 1991 controlling two southern states i.e. Tamil Nadu and Karnataka.

Finally in the year 1994 with the rich warehousing experience, he ventured out and promoted Balaji Warehousing Company Pvt. Ltd. BWC has its effective network in the states of Karnataka, Telangana, Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh.

Under the strong and able leadership of Mr. Reddy, the company has built its USP by adhering to strong ethical practices which has ensured BWC to stand out as the leading service provider in South India.

He has won several numerous awards including the prestigeous BOI MSME award.

Chief Strategic Officer & Director

Mrs. Sreelatha Kaliki is a director of South India's largest bulk commodity handling company Balaji Warehousing Company Pvt. Ltd. based out of Bangalore. She has over 28 years of experience and has ably supported the Chairman and Managing Director Sri Kaliki Kodandarami Reddy in the strategic planning of BWC Group.

She has significantly contributed towards the growth of the company since its inception in 1994. Mrs. Sreelatha skillfully balanced motherhood towards raising three daughters, one of whom have earned the reputation of being a leading Eye cancer specialist working with a reputed Eye research institute L V Prasad Eye Institute based out of Hyderabad.

She is the Director on the board of BWC Group Pvt. Ltd., BLC India Pvt. Ltd., Balaji Constructions (Bangalore) Pvt. Ltd.

In addition to the the strategic decisions made at BWC and ensuring that the group remains competitive in the market, she also spearheads the Corporate Social Responsibility committee at her hometown in Kothuru mandal, Nellore district.

As part of the Sri Shiridi Sai Rural Welfare Trust, she was instrumental in partnering and setting up an eye vision centre under the name of her father Y.Parandhami Reddy with L.V. Prasad Eye Institute, Hyderabad as part of the rural welfare development scheme. The trust also ensures providing free meals for the needy once every week and providing financial assistance for the downtrodden.

Dr Reddy completed his medical education from Kurnool Medical College, followed by a Residency in Ophthalmology from Regional Eye Hospital, Kurnool. He did a long-term fellowship in Cornea and Anterior Segment from L V Prasad Eye Institute, followed by a one-year Fellowship in Cornea, External Disease and Refractive Surgery from Wills Eye Institute, Philadelphia, USA.

Dr Reddy currently heads the Cataract and Refractive services at LVPEI. He is a director at BWC since 2014

Director

Dr Kaliki completed her medical education from M S Ramaiah Medical College, Bangalore, followed by a Residency in Ophthalmology from S V Medical College, Tirupati. She subsequently completed a one-year fellowship in ophthalmic plastic surgery from L V Prasad Eye Institute, and a one-year fellowship each in Ocular Oncology and Ophthalmic Pathology from Wills Eye Institute, Philadelphia, USA.

Dr Kaliki currently heads the Oncology unit at LVPEI. She has been a director at BWC since 2004.

Director - Marketing

Mr. Manas pursued his Masters in Telecommunications from the University Of South Australia (UNSW), Adelaide. He started his professional career with Village Roadshow Entertainment Group, Melbourne where he worked for over 5 years. In 2012, he returned to India to join Tech Mahindra as a senior SAP professional.

In the year 2014, he joined the family business where he initially was with BWC overseeing all the day to day operations, over the last 4 years he has been spearheading the operations and expanding the primary transportation across South India.

Executive Director and Administration

Mrs. Tarangini pursued her bachelor’s in Microbiology from St Joseph College, Bangalore. She has a Masters in Business Administration from RMIT University, Melbourne. She served a short stint with Nandos while at Melbourne and also worked with ICICI Bank upon her return to India in 2011. Currently she is the Executive director and handles the day to day operations including administration at BWC.

Director – Marketing

Mr. Sai Ratnakar possesses a MBA degree from The University of Liverpool John Moores, Ireland. He has also done his B.Com from The Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning, Puttaparthi; he was privileged to be associated with the institution since his early childhood until his graduation.

Post his graduation Mr. Ratnakar started his professional career as a senior consultant with Hewlett Packard, India where he worked for over 2 years. He subsequently worked with several organisations such as Standard Chartered Bank, CRMIT Solutions and also had a short stint with IBM.

In 2018, he joined the family business to oversee the operations of BWC focusing on the Warehousing and Secondary transport business.

Director and Practice Head – Talent Acquisition

Mrs. Deepthi Reddy pursued her Bachelor’s degree in home sciences from Mount Carmel College, Bangalore. She further went on to pursue her Masters in Nutrition Sciences from Manasagangotri, University of Mysore. Post her masters she worked with Sagar hospitals and Kanva Diagnostics as a senior dietician.

Mrs. Deepthi has been involved at BWC and oversees the human resource team.

Executive Management

GM Cements

Mr. Thimmaiah has been associated with BWC since its inception and he began his stint on deputation at JSW Cement Thornagal plant monitoring logistics and movement at site. He currently heads the Cement division at BWC overseeing operations across Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh for Heidelberg, Penna, JSW, Kesoram, Bharathi, Dalmia and Orient cement.

Assistant Vice President-Billing & Collection

Has been associated with BWC since 23 years a year after BWC was incorporated. An ITI graduate from Industrial Training Institute, Peenya in the year 1983, post his graduation he has worked with Sunrise Industries, Bangalore, Looms Manufacturing Company as Turner in the year 1984 to 1986. He had worked with Krishnaveni Transport, Bangalore as an admin in the year 1986 to 1990 as in-Charge of Cement movements.
